Analyzing Request Information in Central Print Services (CPS) logs - c06358146
With the log level raised to finest, the CPS log files will now contain significant amounts of request information, including the raw multipart post sent to the PrintAnywhere server.
To review these logs browse to:
- C:\Program Files\ PrinterOn Corporation\Apache Tomcat\logs
- The primary log information is located in the tomcat7-stdout. log files. This information will allow you to determine how CPS interpreted information submitted from your application prior to sending to PrintAnywhere . The logs will also indicate how PrintAnywhere responded to that request prior to CPS in turn responding to the client. To locate specific information about a request:
- Open the log file
-
Search for “Starting
DoPost
(
)”
The logs will contain a section of information including the data submitted for each request AND each status check submitted to the server. - The XML responses from PrintAnywhere will also be logged.
NOTE:
Applies to PrinterOn Enterprise 3.x and later.
