Does PrinterOn iOS app cache the user name and password for my email mailbox when I access the mailbox from PrinterOn app? - c06884808

The user credentials for the mailbox is not stored in PrinterOn app. When you log into any of mail apps from PrinterOn , you will be redirected to those mail providers to authenticate, i.e Gmail, once authenticated and authorized by Gmail, Gmail will provide PrinterOn app with a token. Gmail does not share the credentials with PrinterOn , it just provides a token. As long as the Gmail token is valid, the user can print without being prompted for authentication. How long a token is valid for depends on the mail provider such as Gmail.

The only time PrinterOn stores the credentials in the app is when they use IMAP as the mail provider and manually add the server and credential information to connect to the IMAP mail server.
