How to change or remove the footer from an email response - c06900893

This article provides steps on how to change or remove the email footer from the response email sent by the PrinterOn Enterprise solution.

  1. Navigate to the default directory: C:\ProgramData\PrinterOn Corporation\ PONData \ PrintAnywhere \Messages\EN_US
  2. Make a backup of the file named (put the backup in a different directory, preferably on another drive or machine): TEMPLATE_EN_FOOTER_1
  3. Open the file from the directory identified in step #1, named: TEMPLATE_EN_FOOTER_1
    1. The contents currently shows :
      • < br >----------------< br >
      • Thank you for using the PrintSpots Mobile Printing Solution.< br >< br >
      • Powered by PrinterOn < br ><A href ="www.printeron.com">www.printeron.com</a><br>
      • ---------------< br >
    2. To disable the footer - Change the contents to (changes highlighted in yellow, with red font):
      • <!-- br >----------------< br >
      • Thank you for using the PrintSpots Mobile Printing Solution.< br >< br >
      • Powered by PrinterOn < br ><A href ="www.printeron.com">www.printeron.com</a><br>
      • ---------------< br -->
    3. The change comments out the entire section of the footer so it will no longer be included in the response
    4. To change the footer - Modify the footer to reflect the required information (Note: you might need a html programmer for more advanced changes).
  4. Save the file
  5. Restart the PrinterOn PrintAnywhere Processing, Status and Email plugin services
  6. Resend another test email print job then confirm the footer no longer appears or the changes are reflected

Applies to PrinterOn Enterprise 2.x and later. For PrinterOn Enterprise 2.x the default folder structure is: C:\ProgramData\PrinterOn Corporation\ PrintAnywhere \Messages\EN_US
