For these non-production scenarios, many customers may not want to spend the money to acquire these certificates from the reputable CAs out there. For these customers, we’ve put together a guide that outlines the steps required to create and use a local Certificate Authority, which allows them to create valid certificates at no cost.

The guide is designed to be an end-to-end guide to setting this up and properly distributing the necessary certificates to both servers and end-user devices, and covers both Mac and Windows.
