How to install SQL Express Standalone when PSIM Installer detects that it could not confirm that SQL is installed? - c06409682

Using these steps will assist in troubleshooting issues related with the SQL component.

• Before clicking on the OK of the installer to uninstall PSIM
• Go to the PSIM setup folder below: '/Programs and Features (x86)/ PrinterOn Install Manager', drag the SQL setup folder to the desktop or another temporary directory
• Click OK to complete PSIM installer which removes SQL.
• Run the SQL installer you copied over from PSIM setup folder.
• If the installation still fails, review the installer logs to resolve the issues
• If the installation is successful run full PSIM and install all the components in the standard installation
