How to Reset a Brother device - c06317189

Hold the home button down on the panel for 3 seconds (even if it is not lit up).

You should receive a screen with 3 or 4 bars, one of which will list the serial number. The bottom bar will be blank. Hold this bar for 3 seconds and then release.

Type in the code *2864 using the keypad (touchpanel or numbers to the right of the display).

Maintenance should appear at the top of the screen.

Type in the number 01. Then press the Mono Start button. Parameter init should appear once you press this. Wait a few seconds, the machine will beep and then goes back to maintenance. Now type in 99.

The machine will reboot and go back to the normal display. You will need to reconfigure any static I.P. network settings on the Brother device.
