I do not see the particular print driver for my printer in PrinterOn portal, what driver should I be choosing? - c06900895
- Look at the printer's specification from an appropriate web site to find out what print languages that particular printer supports
- If the printer supports PCL and/or postscript languages, any generic/universal PCL or postscript print drivers can be used from PrinterOn portal even if the make and model of the printers do not match. This works over %90 of the time
- Try a different universal PCL or post script driver if the first universal print driver does not work
- Alternatively, try the closest model of print driver that is available on PrinterOn's portal
- If all of the above recommendations have been tried and none of them worked, contact PrinterOn support for further consultation
NOTE:
- This article mostly applies to PrinterOn Public (Hosted) and PrinterOn Enterprise (Hybrid Deployment)
- PrinterOn Public (Hosted) only supports printers that support PCL or Post Script languages
