Microsoft Office documents fail to print on the PrinterOn Enterprise solution (PAS103 or PAS98) - c06298368

Utilizing the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution can modify the permissions on the machine to ensure the Microsoft Office application can run with a particular user account.s.

  1. From the Microsoft Windows command prompt type “mmc -32” .
  2. Choose File - Add or Remove Snap-In.
  3. Add Component Services & click OK.
  4. Expand Component Services - Computers - My Computer.
  5. Select DCOM Config.
  6. Perform the next step for each of the following entries.
    NOTE:
    Depending on the version installed, you may see any combination of these options.
    • Microsoft Excel Application.
    • Microsoft PowerPoint Application.
    • Microsoft PowerPoint Slides.
    • Microsoft Publisher Application.
    • Microsoft Visio Application.
    • Microsoft Visio Previewer.
    • Microsoft Excel 97 -2003 Document.
    • Microsoft PowerPoint 97 -2003 Document.
    • Microsoft Word 97 -2003 Document.
    • Microsoft Visio 97 -2003 Document (if installed).
  7. Right-click and select Properties.
  8. Select the Identity tab.
  9. Select “This User” and enter the credentials of the local administrator user who is running PrintAnywhere, click Apply.
  10. Restart the Processing Server service to apply changes.
