Native Print for MacOs - what is supported - c06874190

This is currently supported for Native Print on MacOS

  1. Using native print advertising through PDG works. This is documented and provided in the Mac OS printing guide today. The only limitation is the advertiser is non-routable.
  2. IPP configuration is also documented and fully supported today. Requires users to create an IPP printer and define a print driver.
  3. IPP profiles cannot be used today, PDG gives an improper query response for Mac devices. Support, pending PSIM version 4.1.4

The term AirPrint cannot be used officially as PrinterOn is not currently licensed to use this Apple trademark.
