Signing in to the PirnterOn web submission page using LDAP/AD credential takes a long time (usually longer than 15 seconds). There are a number of reasons this could happen including the Domain Controller (DC) being busy or over loaded or worst unavailable. Within the PrinterOn Enterprise solution, there are a couple changes we could make that might increase the time it takes to authenticate, you can try each option seperately to understand why the issue is occuring or you can complete both options at the same time.

Option #1: Disable LDAP Referrals

  1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Authentication tab
  3. Click on the Edit button beside the desired LDAP/AD Server profile.
  4. Uncheck Follow LDAP Referrals then select apply settings
  5. Navigate back to the web submission page and try to submit another print request

Option #2: Disable E-Mail Address Wildcard Search

  1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Authentication tab
  3. Click on the Edit button beside the desired LDAP/AD Server profile.
  4. Uncheck Follow LDAP Referrals then select apply settings
  5. Navigate back to the web submission page and try to submit another print request
