AirPrint printers are not seen on iOS device after Discovery is enabled - c06238150
Using the steps below the administrator for the PrinterOn Enterprise solution can troubleshoot and resolve native iOS printing issues within the environment.
- Native iOS printing is managed from the the PrinterOn Print Delivery component that is installed with the PrinterOn Enterprise solution.
- Confirm that the PrinterOn printers have been configured within the PrinterOn solution to support discovery on the local network.
Confirm that port 5353 is allowed from the machine hosting the
Enable inbound and outbound communication from the network for UDP port 5353 (the default bonjour port to advertise the pritner's availability to the iOS devices).
- Restart the Print Delivery Gateway service.
- Double check on the iOS device that the airprinters are now appearing.
