Apache Tomcat Service Starts then stops after installing the PrinterOn Enterprise solution - c06233153

Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution can troubleshoot startup issues with the Central Print Services.

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify the version of Java installed on the machine from the programs and features menu.
    Check under 'programs and features' if Java was previously installed or a old version of Java exists, remove all Java version and PrinterOn Enterprise Solution, reboot machine, then try a new installation.
  2. Try using a local administrative account instead of the Local system account and see if that resolves the issue (by default the PrinterOn Enterprise solution uses the local system account).
  3. Try increasing the memory usage on the machine for Apache by going into 'C:\Program Files (x 86)\ PrinterOn Corporation\Apache Tomcat\bin',

open up the ' tomcat7w.exe ' file,

select the ' Java ' tab,

then increase the: 'Initial Memory Pool' from default 256 to 1024 Maximum memory pool from default 512 to 1024.

Then restart Apache service and see if that resolves the issue
