Can one virtual PrinterOn printer exist on multiple Print Delivery Stations with the same serial number?

Answer :

The answer is yes, it can be done, however the Print Delivery station's security encryption key must be disabled.

To disable the Encryption,

1. Open up the PrinterOn Configuration Manager on the PDS machines.
2. Select the 'Security' tab.
3. Change the 'Use Data Encryption' option to 'No'.

NOTE:

Applies to PrinterOn Print Delivery Station 2.x and later.

If the Print Delivery Station security encryption key is not disabled, then PDS1 and PDS2 will conflict and not be able to retrieve and print the print job successfully wit the PrinterOn Enterprise environment.
