The Apache Tomcat package that is part of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution is highly customized; as such if you upgrade the Apache Tomcat software using a package from the Internet this will break your PrinterOn Enterprise solution installation.

NOTE:

Applies to PrinterOn Enterprise 2.x and later.

PrinterOn typically upgrades Apache Tomcat with new releases of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution therefore the latest release of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution will have a newer release of the Apache Tomcat software.
