Cannot find printers using the PrinterOn Mobile Application - c06229988

Steps to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to '0' results showing on the mobile application when searching for printers.

Validate that the Central Print Service (CPS) is accessible from the Mobile device

  1. Open up the browse on the mobile device
  2. Type in the URL to access the Central Print Service either the IP address of the DNS name

Validate that the Server information entered on the Mobile device is correct

  1. Open up the PrinterOn mobile application on the device
  2. Select Settings from the bottom right of the screen
  3. Select the Services option
  4. Select the service is one exists (if none exist, create one using the '+' sign)
  5. Confirm the Server details
  6. Select the 'Test Service' button to validate connectivity to the service
  7. Enable the Default Service option

Validate that the Document API URI information is correct on the PrinterOn Enterprise solution

  1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager
  2. Select the Workflows tab
  3. Select the Mobile tab
  4. Confirm the Document API URI information (if required select the Override Document API URI and enter the correct information)

Validate that the Username and Password is correct

  1. Open up the PrinterOn mobile application on the mobile device
  2. Select Settings from the bottom right
  3. Select User Accounts
  4. Select the user account in the list (if no account exist then add an account by selecting the '+' sign)
  5. Validate that the username and password is correct
  6. Enable the 'Set as default user for the following services', select YES for the service you entered
