The machine hosting the PrinterOn Enterprise solution does not need to have the Adobe Reader software installed.

The PrinterOn Enterprise solution is able to render the document using the PrinterOn rendering engine developed by PrinterOn and is included by default within the PrinterOn Enterprise solution.
