Does the PrinterOn Public solution support user authentication? - c06231747
Within the PrinterOn Public web administration page the option exists to enable a Access Control List (ACL). When this option is enabled the administrator of the PrinterOn Public solution must manually maintain a list of authorized users of the service; this is managed based on the user's email address. When an email is received by the service, if the sending user's email address is included in the list of users allowed to use the service then the print request will be successful. If the user's email address is not included in the the approved list, the print request will be rejected with an error message to sender advising the service is private.
Other authentication options such as LDAP, Active Directory, or other authentication options are not supported by the PrinterOn Public solution.
