How to allow IE full access to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager? - c06237346

Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution can implement changes on Internet Explorer (IE) to allow all options within the PrinterOn Configuration Manager to be accessible.

Disable IE security using the Server Manager:

1. Launch the Server Manager Utility
2. Select Local server
3. Click IE Enhanced Security
4. Select the option to disable for administrators and users
5. Select Apply to confirm changes
6. Restart Internet Explorer and attempt to access the PrinterOn Configuration Manager again

Enable specific security changes on IE:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Navigate to the top right menu in IE and select the gear logo
3. Select Internet Options
   
4. Select Security
5. Then Trusted Sites
6. Click on Sites
7. Fill in the PrinterOn Configuration Manager URL for IE to trust
8. Click ADD
9. Click Close button and select Custom Level and ensure that both File and Fonts download are enable as shown below
   
10. Click OK and test loading the PrinterOn Configuration Manager again

NOTE:

Applies to PrinterOn Enterprise 3.x and later. These changes are not required on the machine hosting the PrinterOn Enterprise solution if loading the PrinterOn Configuration Manager from another machine.
