How to authenticate using email address and username from the web submission page? - c06242744

Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution can allow the users to authenticate using both the username and the email address.

1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager
2. Select the Authentication tab
3. With LDAP/AD enabled
4. Create 2 LDAP profiles and configure them with as per below:
   1. Profile 1, set the default settings, set the User ID attribute to the attribute field within the LDAP/AD environment that stores the user ID ( e.g. samAccountName )
   2. Profile 2, set the User ID Attribute filed to the attribute filed within the LDAP/AD environment that stores the users email address ( e.g mail)
5. Save the configurations for both profiles
6. Apply Settings again to commit the changes
