How to backup the PrinterOn SQL Configuration database - c06232807

Completing the steps below will allow the administrator of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution to make a backup of the PrinterOn configuration database when using SQL Express installed using the standard installation of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution.

1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager
2. Select Advanced, then Components
3. Select Configure on the SQL Server object
4. By Default the SQL Server Backup Directory is located here: C:\ProgramData\PrinterOn Corporation\ PONData \ sqlBackup
5. Select the Backup DB option to begin the process of backing up the SQL Server database
6. Refresh the screen until the Last Manual Backup date is updated to the current date/time
7. Navigating to the directory identified in step #4, the database will be created with a . bak extension
