  This will usually mean that load balancers cannot be used to provide high availability since static IPs cannot always be set for a load balancer
• Must use default IPP port of 631, so PDG must be modified to listen on port 631
• Resource path is case sensitive

Apple Configurator

Steps to create profile:

• Launch Apple Configurator
• Create new profile
• Set a Description on the General tab
• Choose the AirPrint option from the left side menu
• Click Configure
• Click the + button to add a new printer
• Enter the server IP or DNS for the PDG host machine in the Host Name or IP Address field
• Press the tab key to get to the next field (using a mouse does not work)
• Enter the printer number or printer name, preceded by a forward slash (/) in the Resource Path field
• Click your cursor into the Host Name or IP Address field again and click Save
• This profile can now be shared with users for deployment on iOS devices

Known Limitations:

• When ready to save, the cursor must be in the IP Address field, or the save button will remain unavailable

• When entering the resource path, ensure you lead with a "/"
