How to update a PrinterOn PrintConnect device using the browser - c06231869
Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn solution can update the Print Delivery Station (PDS) using the web browser.
Required:
- Access to a PC that is on the same network as the Printeron PrintConnect network appliance.
- The IP address of the PrintConnect .
Steps:
- From the computer on the same network as the PrinterOn PrintConnect device.

Open
a web browser
(Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and type that
IP address
, followed by ":8181" into the address bar.
For example: http://192.168.2.1:8181. - This should load the PrintConnect's web page.
- Click on Print Delivery Station main page and then choose Administrator login is available here beneath the buttons.
- Enter admin as the Username and password as the password (by default, other wise enter the configured password).
- Choose the Software Upgrade tab and click Check Now .
- When the Download and Install button appears, click it to complete the update.
- The device will restart its service and the web page will be refreshed.
- Submit a test print job at this time to confirm everything is working as expected.
