How to update a PrinterOn PrintConnect device using the browser - c06231869

Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn solution can update the Print Delivery Station (PDS) using the web browser.

Required:

• Access to a PC that is on the same network as the Printeron PrintConnect network appliance.
• The IP address of the PrintConnect .

Steps:

1. From the computer on the same network as the PrinterOn PrintConnect device.
2. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and type that IP address , followed by ":8181" into the address bar.
   For example: http://192.168.2.1:8181.
3. This should load the PrintConnect's web page.
4. Click on Print Delivery Station main page and then choose Administrator login is available here beneath the buttons.
5. Enter admin as the Username and password as the password (by default, other wise enter the configured password).
6. Choose the Software Upgrade tab and click Check Now .
7. When the Download and Install button appears, click it to complete the update.
8. The device will restart its service and the web page will be refreshed.
9. Submit a test print job at this time to confirm everything is working as expected.

Applies to the PrinterOn PrintConnect ( linux ) device.
