Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn solution is able to utilize a software release option rather than using the physical printer or the PrinterOn PrintValet keypad.

Locate the machine that is hosting the PrinterOn Print Delivery Station and confirm that port 8181 is allowed through the firewall. Open a web browser and type in the address for the PDS machine and the port of 8181 (this port is configurable). Example: https://192.169.0.10:8181, the page will appear as per below:

Select the option for 'Secure Release Code' then enter the release code to release the print job to the selected printer.
