How to validate network connectivity to the PrinterOn Print Delivery Station (PDS) software? - c06241663

Using the steps below the adminsitrator of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution can utilize these steps to validate connectivity to the PrinterOn Print Delivery Station (PDS).

  1. Open a Web browser from where you want to validate the connectivity to Print Delivery Station PDS Software
  2. In the address bar, type http(s)://PDS-Address:PDS-Port and hit enter

If the browser is able to communicate to the PDS software, an xml error response in the web browser similar to the below message; this xml error message is the proof of connectivity

For example, if the PDS software is installed on a Windows machine with the IP address of and the listening port for PDS is set as 631 (The defualt port), the URL to be tested in the web browser's address bar:
