java.lang.NullPointerException / An Unexpected Error has Occurred during print submission - c06232898

'Error An Unexpected Error has Occurred' resulting in an Error: java.lang .NullPointerException while trying to submit a job though web submission. This might also result in a Error 73 showing up in the Central Print Services (CPS) log files.

Troubleshooting steps:

• Validate if the environment has a proxy server, implement the proxy settings on the General Settings tab of the PrinterOn Configuration manager .
• Setup proxy exceptions within the PrinterOn PrintAnywhere server component.
  • Log into the PrinterOn Configuration manager.
  • Select the 'Advanced' tab and choose Components.
  • Select Configure on the PrintAnywhere Server
  • Choose the Networking tab. In the Proxy Exceptions field, enter the IP addresses of the other servers running PrinterOn software ( e.g. 127.0.0.1;182.84.20.320;223.22.39.21).
    Please remember to ‘Apply Settings’ when the proxy settings have been configured.
• Validate that the PrintAnywhere API is configured to the proper URL.
  • Log into the PrinterOn Configuration manager.
  • Select the 'Advanced' tab and choose Components.
  • Select Configure on the Central Print Services component.
  • Choose the Advanced tab. It should display by default http://localhost/PasServlet/PasServlet

Where localhost is the server accepting print requests (if the CPS service is on a remote machine, enter the address for the machine hosting the Central Print Services).
