Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn Enterprise solution can troubleshoot the printing service and the error message: PAS00128: The service is temporarily unavailable.
While submitting a print job through the web submission page the error message is received:
Steps to troubleshoot:
It may be related to a network issues on the PAS or most commonly that the PAS services are in stopped state - User initiated or Computer initiated The result is a PAS00128: The service is temporarily unavailable.
Verify the PrinterOn Processing Service is running either from PrinterOn or Windows Service panel:
- Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager and confirm the PrinterOn Processing Services is running, if the service is not running start the service.
- Verify that the PrinterOn Processing Server is not stopped from the Microsoft Windows Services panel, if the service is not running start the service.
- Try to submit another print request again and confirm that the print job is successful.
