Print Delivery Station does not download jobs from the Print Delivery Hub - c06238201
Using the steps below the administrator of the PrinterOn solution can troubleshoot why the Print Delivery Station (PDS) does not download jobs from the Print Delivery Hub (PDH).
Typically this occurs when the password entered in the Print Delivery Hub (PDH) has special characters that is not supported by both the PDS and PDH components.
Steps to troubleshoot:
- If your PDH password has special characters e.g. Pa55\/\/0rd then your PDS will not download the jobs from PDH even if you configure PDS to talk to PDH using the same password.

Test button on PDS will return successful.
However, the jobs don't get downloaded to PDS. - After clicking on refresh in PDS Queue monitor once in a while you see the job with Pending Download and after clicking on refresh that will go away.
- Jobs will remain in PDH folder until the password is changed to something without special charecter .
- PDS logs will let you know that the password had invalid characters, but still succeeds in tests.
