PWC5241 when testing PrintWhere authentication - c06238153
This issue may occur when testing the connection to Central Print Service (CPS) from the PrintWhere desktop application, you may get a PWC5241 error: Unable to connect to Service URL.
This error represents a timeout in communication to the CPS service or to the machine where the CPS is installed.
To speed up the authentication process, ensure that "Follow LDAP Referrals" is disabled on the PrinterOn Enterprise Server, to accomplish this complete these steps:
- Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager .
- Navigate to the Authentication Tab.
- Select edit on the active LDAP profile (s).
- Validate that the Follow LDAP Referrals option is enabled.
