Troubleshooting error EXCEPTION: PWC4559: The requested duplex option information is invalid. - c06234240

Submitting print jobs through the PrinterOn Enterprise solution generates the error message EXCEPTION: PWC4559: The requested duplex option information is invalid.

Steps to troubleshoot:

Confirm the duplex setting configured on the printer

  1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager
  2. Select the '+' for the printer generating the error message, then select Configure
  3. Select the Finishing Options
  4. Review the Duplexing Type configured for the printer
  5. Change the Duplexing Type to Not Managed
  6. Select Apply Settings
  7. Re-submit another print request and confirm if the print job is successful
  8. If the print job is successful, try changing the duplexing type to another option to see if this works better than the one that was originally configured

Confirm the print driver being used on the printer

It might be the duplexing options selected will not work with the particular print driver.

  1. Login to the PrinterOn Configuration Manager
  2. Select the '+' for the printer generating the error message, then select Configure
  3. Select Printer Driver
  4. Try changing the print driver to another driver
  5. Select Apply Sttings
  6. Re-submit another print request and confirm if the print job is successful
  7. If the print job is not successful, confirm the duplexing settings configured and try changing the print driver again.
