Troubleshooting error PAS00210 - Print request failed. Error Code: 210 Reason: Word SetPageOriention() - c06234260

Error message appears when trying to submit a print request through the PrinterOn Enterprise solution: Print request failed. Error Code: 210 Reason: Word SetPageOriention()

Steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Attempt to send through a number of documents and confirm if the issue only occurs on Microsoft Office documents (send print jobs for, png, txt, gif, jpg, doc, xls, ppt)
  2. Using the PrinterOn Configuration Manager, validate from the services menu that all the PrinterOn Enterprise solution components are running
  3. Confirm that the DCOM settings have been configured on the Microsoft Office components, review HP PrinterOn Enterprise - Troubleshooting PAS0098 and PAS0103 error messages for additional steps
    1. If the DCOM settings were not previously configured, restart the machine hosting the PrinterOn Enterprise solution then attempt to send the print requests again
  4. Re-scan the applications on the machine using the Auto Configure Settings on the PrinterOn Enterprise solution
    1. While logged into the PrinterOn Configuration Manager
    2. Select Advanced, then Components
    3. Select Configure on the PrintAnywhere Server
    4. Select the Applications tab
    5. Scroll to the bottom and select Auto Configure Settings
    6. Select Apply Settings to confirm the settings
  5. If none of the above steps are successful and Microsoft Office documents are the only ones failing, attempt to remove Microsoft Office from the machine, reboot the machine and then install Microsoft office again
  6. Complete step #4 to re-scan the applications again
  7. Attempt to send a print request again through the PrinterOn Enterprise solution
