Unable to find valid certification path to requested target - c06234553

Error message showing in the Central Print Services (CPS) log file, this error occurs while trying to synchronize the printer listings on the PrinterOn Configuration Manager:

'Caused by: sun.security .validator.ValidatorException : PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException : unable to find valid certification path to requested target.'

Steps to resolution:

  1. There might be a transparent proxy server in the environment, disable the proxy server from blocking the https connections to printeron.net which should resolve the issues.
  2. Configure proxy exceptions within the PrinterOn Enterprise solution (from the networking tab for the PrintAnywhere server through the advanced menu).
