When running an installer, typically the Print Delivery Gateway or Print Delivery Station components, this error message is encountered:

Upgrade Aborted: current version installed () is not supported for upgrading! Required version is 2.5 and above.

This message could indicate that the installer being used is older than the currently installed version, or it could also indicate that the wrong type of installer is being used. In the event that the component was installed by running a Custom install of the full PrinterOn Server Install Manager (PSIM.exe), upgrades can only be done using the full installer.

To confirm which installer was used, navigate to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\PrinterOn Corporation.

• If the standalone PDS installer was used, the folder name will be C:\Program Files (x86)\PrinterOn Corporation\Print Delivery Station Installer.
  Suggested resolution: Confirm that the version of PDS currently installed is not newer than the version attempting to be installed.
• If the full PSIM.exe was used, the folder name will be C:\Program Files (x86)\PrinterOn Corporation\PrinterOn Server Install Manager
